A new class at Norwalk High School for the 2020/2021 school year has started to help build the brand that is Norwalk High School athletics.  The students in the course will be creating the content for the new website as well as for publishing and broadcast on Bear Country News.  “The exciting aspect of this course is that the students will take ownership of what content they create.” said Doug Marchetti Athletic Director of Norwalk High.  Mr. Marchetti was instrumental in helping to create the class and continues to foster the growth of the program.

“The idea is to embed our ‘content creators’ with the sports teams and report on not only the scores but create an all encompassing network that digs deep into the many aspsects of sports on a high school level.”  said instructor Kyle Seaburg.  The students in the full year course will be building their part of The Bear’s Den website, anything and everything related to sports.  There are plans for a sports podcast as well as video stories that will promote and cover the events both on and off the field.
