After each win, it’s tradition to run to the other sideline to thank the fans in the stands.

The Norwalk High School girls field hockey team isn’t just a group of talented athletes; they’re a tight-knit family of players whose sisterly bond has become the secret weapon behind their success. They are on fire from winning 3 out of 4 games, with 2 shutouts. With their athletic abilities and their unmatched team chemistry, it makes them a hard team to beat.

On the field, this team creates a positive environment within each other. They show love during all the ups and downs during the game. When the team scores a goal they all gather around each other and share hugs with excitement. When the opposing team scores a goal, they quickly rush over to each other and pick each other up. The support and loving bond this team spreads, is different from other field hockey programs. After the game ends, and the lady bears secure the win, it’s a tradition for every girl on the team to run over to their goalie and share hugs. No matter what happens on or off the field, the girls always show their love and support within each other. They are all like sisters; they all have each others back.
