In this cheesy holiday rom-com, there are two main characters, Peter (Michael Urie) and Nick (Philemon Chambers). Peter, desperate to avoid his family’s judgment about his single status, asks his best friend to pose as his boyfriend on a Christmas visit home, but their plan and feelings change when his family plays matchmaker. Opinion- If you are a fan of Christmas-associated romantic comedy films then you will certainly favor this one. Two best friends, Peter and Nick, are in denial of their romantic feelings towards each other until Peter’s family points it out and becomes aware of their affection towards each other. In addition, another positive is that it’s Netflix’s first queer holiday film to its roster.
