We have a lot of depth this year and I think we’re all looking forward to a great season.

With only five Norwalk High members, there’s a lot to learn about the NorMac Ice Hockey team below the iceberg.

Norwalk High has two juniors, JohnLuca Milone 23′ and Matt Remson 23′, representing the school as assistant captains. They are both honored to hold their position, and eager to build up a successful team. When asked about his hopes and expectations for the upcoming season, Remson said, “I think having everyone get along and being able to work together is one of the most important parts of a team sport. We have a lot of depth this year and I think we’re all looking forward to a great season.” Remson and the other members are eyeing a successful year, with hopefully another presence in the post-season.

As a little flashback on previous seasons, the NorMac Hockey program began in enter year. Since then, they have been in and out of States and the FCIAC tournaments. The past two years, the teams were full of determination, and this brought them to a promising post season in 2020, before the shut down, and FCIAC finals in 2021. This season’s team has a bright season ahead of them, filled with experience, dedication, and the beloved hockey bond.

We are wishing the NorMac Hockey team the best of luck in their upcoming season, and the team hopes to see the pack and others at their home games at SONO Ice House. For more information about the team and the upcoming season, visit the flyer attached to this story.
