Sophomore+Superstar+End+of+Season+Insight

Sophomore Ava Oustifine brings in end-of-season insight by answering 4 questions for us.

Our first question was, “What do you expect for the team next year?” “I expect us to have a successful season and to keep building a positive culture involving Norwalk Girls Soccer. We all love what we do and we want to carry that into next year with a positive mindset.”

Our next question was “How did the seniors lead the team this year?” “We had 3 seniors and those 3 seniors were our captains. The seniors really kept us together during the hard times of our season and stepped up as leaders at all times. I loved being able to play with them and learn from the 3 of them.”

Question 3 was “How did Coach Knight Change the program?” “Coach Knight always brought a positive vibe and created a positive atmosphere at all times for us. We were able to learn a lot from him and he always made sure we held our heads up through the season.

The last question was “How has being on varsity since freshman year changed you as a player.” “Being on varsity since freshman year has helped me mature and grow on and off the field. It has also shown me how much hard work you have to put in to stay in the starting lineup and to continue being successful during games.

Ava has a bright future ahead of her and we are so glad she was able to give us insight into views on next year along with the information on the 2023 season We hope to see more success involving Girl’s Soccer and can’t wait to see the big things they are going to accomplish!
