The highs and the lows that went on with Christine Tacuri going on with her season as a sophomore that has been playing since she was a freshman. Her goals for the season was to come out more successful than her last season by winning more games and having a better season than her last and have been able to have a better season than her last. As for Christine her fall 25 season comes to an end with one game left she has given the team 2 goals and 3 assists. As she started her fall 25 season as a starter domaining the right wing on the pitch. Christine has been owning the right wing for the 2 seasons she has been on the girls varsity team. Christine Tacuri has been having an amazing and impressive soccer season, as she displays her talent and dedication on the field which she describes “speak less more action.”
As a very important player for the girls soccer team, Christine is constantly showing her strong skills in both offensively and defensively ways. Throughout her season she has come in clutch and scored many important and decisive goals that have helped her team get the advantage in the game. Her crazy abilities and skill to read the game and make quick decisions that let her to set up crosses into the box giving assists for her teammates. Way above her technical skills, Christine’s work ethic and sportsmanship stands out like any other, she usually does personal training on her own on her off days or sometimes after practice fixing her touch and pass. She always seems to have an open mind and listen to her teammates, she has a positive attitude on and off the pitch, and showed discipline and dedication to the game. Her dedication to practice and improve herself was clear evidence in every match she played.
Although her season has been a well performing season she has had some setbacks injuries and discomforts have gotten in her way of having the best season yet. She had pulled her hamstring leaving her out for 2-3 games which were critical because she’s a player who makes a difference on the pitch. She has also gotten a cold and left her dull, not physically ready to play the games but after that she proves herself on the pitch once again. As she has had a great improvement she has been noticed and seen by her teams and coaches a quote from coach Knight “Christine is a critical player when it comes to decisive games.” The season comes to an end for Christine but she is sure to work harder and more intensive during the off season that will leave her ready for her Junior year.
