Have you ever attended a golf match? Have you ever played a game of golf? Today, we are here to take you through a day of golf with the Norwalk High School Boys Golf team at Oak Hills Park Golf Course. The boys matched up against the Danbury Hatters, and the results of the match were unforgettable.
The boys golf team had a big win over Danbury, finishing 153-164. Over the course of the 2023 season, the Norwalk High Golf team posted some of the lowest scores in NHS golf history. With their regular season coming to a close, the boys will cheer on teammate, Frank Bergin (Junior), at the FCIAC Boys Golf Championship at Woodway Country Club in Darien, CT on October 17th.
“The future is bright,” says Coach Gigliotti. “Although we have 7 graduates, we had 20 student-athletes on the roster, one of our largest groups ever so I am confident that we have a competitive group coming back.” With lots of young talent, the boys hope to improve their skills and hope to win more matches in the 2024 season.
