While spectators may enjoy seeing unbelievable shots and game-winning goals, it’s important to recognize the necessity of tenacious defenders to complete a team. The Norwalk Boys Soccer team shows a great deal of talent in its defensive line, and has been making game-saving plays since the start of the season. From top corner saves to end-line slide tackles, their defenders have proven they are an asset to the team.
We had a chance to follow the defenders throughout their game on October 6th against Danbury. Although Norwalk came out short with a one-goal deficit, they still played a remarkable game.
