He was relieved when golf became a fall sport because that meant he could come back to lacrosse. Coach Gigs has three children, two who are currently at Norwalk High. Ava who’s a senior and AJ who is a sophomore and they both play lacrosse. Gigs explains how crazy their house feels during the season saying that it looks like someone blew up a lacrosse clothing and e

For the past few years Summer has joined along with Coach Martinez and Coach Gigs and has helped improve the Norwalk High School Girl’s team tremendously throughout the years.
Ava Gigliotti is a senior at Norwalk High School and has been apart of the Norwalk High School’s Girls Lacrosse program for 3 years, this year will be her fourth year. Ava started playing lacrosse 11 years ago. We asked Ava what her favorite memory is from high school lacrosse, she states “My favorite memory is definitely being apart of the team that beat McMahon for the first time in many years, we all put our best effort and it was one of the most rewarding moments.” Both her mom and dad are a part of the coaching staff for the girls lacrosse program and Ava says sh

AJ Gigliotti a sophomore at Norwalk High School has been apart of the Norwalk High’s Boys Lacrosse program for 1 year, this year will be his second. We asked AJ what it is like to have his parents apart of the Norwalk High School Lacrosse program and he states “It’s more fun with my parents there.” Even though Coach Gigliotti and Summer do not coach AJ they are still a big help to the boy lacrosse team.
