No Excuses For Alistair Morin
Alistair Morin’s Journey to College Baseball.
Recently, Norwalk High School’s very own Alistair Morin announced his commitment to play Division 1 baseball at Siena College in Loudonville, New York. However, his journey to this level of play was far from easy. It takes a certain amount of natural talent to play college baseball, and that’s what Alistair had from a young age. All through his Little League days, he was one of Norwalk’s standout young players. However, on June 13th, 2017, Alistair’s world would be changed forever. On that day, his father and long-time coach Chris Morin passed away due to complications from colon cancer. It was a day that left Norwalk’s whole baseball community shocked and in pain. But since that day, Alistair has taken it upon himself to play in his father’s name, and has worked harder than ever in his pursuit of playing baseball at the highest level. From early morning gym workouts, to countless hours spent working on his craft, Alistair has seen massive improvements to his game in a short amount of time. Now that Alistair is moving on to play college baseball, we can look back and admire his journey.
