After a long fall of conditioning and preparing for the 2023-2024 season the Girls Basketball team is hungry to dominate.
The Girls Basketball opens there 2023-2024 season at home against Weston on Monday, 12/11, at 6:15 p.m. The team is coached by Evan Kelley who is assisted by coaches Tim Williams, Karey Fitzgerald, and Lynette Martinez. Also led by four senior captains, Sariah Rogers, Cyarah Thomas, Jaylah Reiph, and Tiffany Martinez. They play a total of 19 games, 8 home, and 8 away.
Talking to the Senior Captians this year was a great pleasure. Sariah Rodgers shows how much drive she has this season to thrive for athletic greatness while still showing leadership. Sariah Rodger states “This season I’m looking forward to the games, the energy of the crowd, and the chance to create outstanding plays. Winning States and FCIACS has been a long term goal for me and my team. This being my last year..to make it my best, I plan to savor every moment, and have fun with my team and coaches”. Rodgers has been playing basketball since she was just a kid and shes ready to leave her senior season out with a bang.
