The boy’s soccer team had their rivalry game on Wednesday against McMahon. Coming into this game the Bears had a 14 game win streak against the Senators and were looking to extend that streak. The Bears haven’t had the best season so far with a record of 3-3-2, but were looking to rebound with a win against a talented team and a huge rival. The boys came out motivated and with a lot of energy to start the game. They went up 1-0 early with a goal from Ivan Rojas and were looking good. Then, McMahon came back swinging. The scored 2 unanswered goals and had the bears on their heels going into halftime. After halftime McMahon scored 2 more goals but the Bears never quit. Ivan scored another goal with about 10 ,lutes left bringing the score to 4-2. The bears then hit the post 3 times with close scoring chances but were unable to complete a comeback. A rough loss for our soccer team but they are still looking forward to making playoffs.
