Set the Season for Boys Volleyball
Two games, two wins. Boys Volleyball starts the season strong.
The Boy’s Volleyball team is on a roll! In their first two games against Stamford and Danbury, they won their first two matches in 3 sets. This team was originally a club created by Sam White five years ago. Last year, was the first year the Boys Volleyball team became an official team. The Boys Volleyball Team is run by Head Coach Mrs. Miller. The team is now run by Captains Aidan Brown, James Perez, and Zach Memoli. When asked what their preseason training looked like, Captain Aidan Brown stated ” Preason involved lots of time conditioning and a clinic with Mr. Cundiff who was a coach a few years ago.” Senior, Matt Caitai, who has been a part of the team for four years, added that they did “conditioning in the weight room 3 days a week” too.
When asked what their goals are for the season, Captain Aidan Brown stated “Goals for this season are to definitely qualify for states and make it to the second or third round.” Matt Caiati also said, “to make states this season”.
