Volleyball Team Excited with New Head Coach!
Coach Vera Gonzalez
This past Summer the Norwalk Athletic Director Mr. Marchetti was pleased to announce the hiring of Coach Vera Gonzalez.
Coach Gonzalez has high school coaching experience, being the Head coach at Hall High School in West Hartford. She also was the assistant coach for both the boys and girls volleyball team at Ridgefield High School. Her Ridgefield teams had lots of success with both teams competing on the state level, with many appearances in the championship.
Coach Gonzalez is teaching the girls new methods and getting all of them to be a well rounded volleyball player. She is very committed as a coach and is thinking of starting a feeder program for Norwalk High. By accomplishing this she will run clinics during the off season to get more girls to play and fall in love with the sport.
