Norwalk High gymnastics resurfaced in 2018. Going into 2019 school year after the team was long forgotten about. Allie Pereira and Sophia Taiyanides were able to talk to Athletic Director Doug Marchetti about getting the team up and running again. Little did they know 3 short years later they would have to be competing with masks. This video story gives the opinions about masks from a gymnasts point of view. The sport of gymnastics is a hard sport to train both physically and mentally, adding a mask is just another challenge that these tenacious athletes have had to overcome.
