The girls volleyball season just came to an end Saturday November 7th  with a  a loss against Ridgefield 1-3. This was a successful season for the Bears even through the circumstances of a shorter season, playing with masks, and not being able to have an audience at home games. The Bears came out strong this season. They defeated their  cross town rivals, Brien McMahon, along with Danbury and Wilton. I spoke with senior Devon Wilkins who says, “As a senior the season was definitely not as I expected because of the restrictions of corona which is kind of disappointing, but I am glad it (the season) was able to happen. Even though we didn’t have as many games as usual it was a great experience and it was a fun time to be able to play regardless of the restrictions.” This senior heavy team  stayed optimistic throughout the season with strong leadership and built traditions that should carry on in the future.
