The Girls Soccer team had their senior night on Thursday October 22nd. The girls really wanted to win for the senior players and had a lot of energy coming into it. Ridgefield was undefeated coming into this game so they most likely thought it was going to be an easy win. The Lady Bears knew that they had good competition and went into this game to prove them wrong. Throughout the first half of the game both teams had possession of the ball and had  few shots on goal. To end the half the score was 0-0. A very interesting second half as both teams are still looking to score their first goal.  With time running down just within a Ridgefield earned a penalty kick inside the box. Ridgefield scored off of this kick to put them in the lead with a score of 1-0 with three minutes remaining in the game.  A hard fought game by both sides and the Norwalk Girl’s Soccer represented the school and their Seniors with pride.
