Girls Lacrosse looking to make a push towards the State tournament!

The Bears are off to a 2-7 and are looking to push towards the State tournament.

The Norwalk Girls Lacorsse Team is killing it on the road this season.

The Bears are currently 2-7, after coming away with a win at Shelton and at Westhill. The Bears should just play all their games on the road as they have a 40% win percentage when on the road.

They have yet to pull out a win on Testa field. Their next chance to pull out a win on Testa is Saturday April 30th vs Danbury. The game will take place at 1:30pm.

The Bears have been led by Grace L’Archevesque, Kaelyn Fogelson and captains Sara Spielman and Sofia Imbrogno. These girls have really led the Bears offense this year scoring a majority of the goals.

Rachel Miller has been a force in the net for Norwalk. Rachel Miller has recently gotten her 100th save. Miller is a first time girls lacrosse goalie. Miller is preparing to lead Norwalk’s field hockey team also next year. She was voted captain and will likley be the starting goalie next year for the Bears. She also plays basketball. Miller is really a big part of Norwalk sports as the 3 sport athlete will be looking to make a difference in all the sports she plays.

Make sure to check out the Bears as they continue their season and fight for their spot in the FCIAC and State tournament.
