Sliding Into The Season
A Talk With The Captains
Last years’ baseball State Champions are back this season.
The Norwalk High School bears are coming off their first class LL state Championship with high hopes for the upcoming season. After losing 14 seniors, the bears have been working hard this off-season and preparing for another outstanding season. Captains Konstantinos Kodonas (pictured left),Eddy Carabito ( pictured middle), and Phillip Nors (pictured right) believe the most important skills for the team are competing, teamwork, and doing your job. Senior Josh Young tells us, “We’re a very young team so teaching the younger players is important so we can stay a strong competitor this year.” Captain Konstantinos Kodonas says, “I am most excited for the McMahon game and the Westhill game because they’re our biggest rivals. Although they are going to be hard games, as long as we take everything we’ve been practicing and put it into our games, we’ll have another great season.” We’re excited to see how this season goes, good luck to our baseball bears!
