Your “game day face” is more than just a facial expression, It’s the mentality and focus in between the athlete and their love for their sport.
It determines whether your focused or not, and you see if your opponent is ready or not. Its important to have a good game day face because it makes you feel hyped and ready for your game. It also can maybe intimidate others. Your game day face will let them know you’re ready. Every ones game day face is different, It could range from intimidating or serious, to looking calm and relaxed, but that all just depends on the player. “The face” can give your teammates or coaches signals as well, for example it can show an athletes frustration or the opposite and display their joy. All athletes have “the face”, what’s yours?
