Recap of the 2021 Girls Swim and Dive Team’s Season
Norwalk’s Swim and Dive was a memorial one.
The season started off with a touching tribute for Kelly Devine. Norwalk traveled to New Canaan to take on the Rams on a warm day at their outside pool. Norwalk unfortunately lost this battle, but the touching tribute really brought the girls together and made them really appreciate their great sport.
The Norwalk Swim and Dive team got their first team point win at home against Danbury. Norwalk’s team really came together this game and everyone did their job to win this one.
Norwalk’s season was highlight by their senior captain Senior Morgan Saunders record breaking 100 yard breaststroke in the FCIAC playoffs. This swim broke the long recored at Norwalk High.
Norwalk is excited to run it back next year and continue to teach and develop great swimmer, divers, athletes, and students.
