The Plan
Today, I decided to review the new Chicken Big Mac from McDonald’s. I visited the establishment located on 531 Westport Ave. We came here for one thing and one thing only. This being to try the new Chicken Big Mac and review it.
How was the atmosphere?
When I walked in, the atmosphere was very nice for a fast food chain restaurant. Seemingly very well kept and somewhat new. I was a bit more confident in the fact that the food would be good after seeing this. There was cleanliness among the floor, little crumbs on tables, wall paint seemed clean. Everything seemed presentable and impressed me over all. This is one of the first things I look for when I enter an establishment such as McDonalds.
Now For The Customer Service
As I entered the establishment, I was warmly greeted by workers which I appreciated very much. They asked how I doing, and ultimately, how they can help me. I gave them the order and we went from there. I ordered the Chicken Big Mac of course. With a side of their famous fries and a Diet Coke. I got the meal, and it was time to eat.
Nutritional Facts
Now obviously, the chicken Big Mac is not going to be considered a health food. That is by about anyones account. McDonald’s and other American fast food places have always been know actually to drive up obesity rates in the country rather than have any health benefit. With that being said, here are the Chicken Big Mac nutritional values.
- 530 calories
- 20g fat
- 4.2g saturated fat
- 2.2g salt
- 25g protein
Now, to compare it to the original Beef Big Mac
- 493 calories
- 24g fat
- 8.8g saturated fat
- 2.2g salt
- 26g protein
As you can see, there isn’t that wide of a change in the nutritional value of each.
How did it taste?
As I bit into the chicken Big Mac for the first time, I first was hit with the sweet and tanginess of the signature, original Big Mac sauce. I’ve never been to much of a fan of it, however I do enjoy it time to time. After that I was was hit with the salty, juicy, crispy chicken fillet which was done well for a fast food restaurant. The bread in the middle was also present as it would be in the original Big Mac, which I was never sure why. Basically, this is just a slight twist on the Mac, replacing the beef for fried chicken.
To conclude
All in all, the atmosphere, customer service, and most importantly quality of food was exceptional. I was very happy with my experience at the McDonalds on Westport Ave. For locational details, click HERE.
