The Norwalk High Cross Country team wanted to kick their season off strong. They were working for their first meet against their rivals, Brien McMahon, to start their season off on a good note. Senior Frankie Bonaddio stated, “My first meet went very well. I ran a very good time considering the lack of workouts we had due to COVID.” Although the team wasn’t in their best shape they still managed to pull through and beat McMahon by a very large margin. From their first meet against McMahon until now the team never stopped working. Frankie Bonaddio told me “This was not my best year of racing, and I think that is due to the very late start we had with practices and just the chaos that this year has brought.” However the athlete did talk also talk about how the team and himself are in a good position going into the indoor track season.
