Norwalk High School track star, Layla Roberts is currently a junior. Roberts participates in both Indoor and Outdoor Track. She recently has won the FCIAC and CIAC Class LL high jump titles during this indoor season. Roberts cleared 5-1 to win FCIAC West Division high jump title. For her final attempt she cleared 5-2 to win the FCIAC Championship and placed 4th in the long jump and hurdles. Coach Moffet has coached Layla since the 5th grade with his youth program. He started to have her get involved with hurdles and long jump during middle school. During her sophomore year, she started to do high jumps. Besides being involved in indoor and outdoor track, Roberts also involves herself in the Orchestra here at the High. She is 1 out of the 10 P-Tech students to earn academic honors from the College Board Programs.
