Dodgeball Is Back!!!
After three years Norwalk High School’s charity dodgeball tournament finally returns!
With much anticipation for one of Norwalk High School’s adored fundraiser events, it has finally come! This past Thursday, hundreds of people gathered in the gym to be apart of a monumental event, the comeback of the dodgeball tournament! The 11th annual charity dodgeball tournament was held at Norwalk High after a 3 year hiatus, where 25 teams played to win.
The teams, spectators and sponsors were able to raise over $10,000 to be put towards the Tunnels to Towers foundation, as well as Norwalk High’s Best Buddies and Unified sports programs. “It was really cool to see everyone come together and raise money for a good cause.” said Angelika Boulas (’24). We received participation from multiple school clubs, courses and student teams such as ROTC, A and E house, Unified sports, St. Baldricks, Field Hockey, Girls Soccer, Choir, Alumni, BCN and AP Euro. Not only were there teams part of the school, but there were many teams from the community including the Norwalk Police and Fire Department, Goldfish Swim School and Hometown Deli. People of all ages gathered to watch and to end the night there was a 1-1 score in the championship game out of 3 to determine the winners where team Hitmen came out on top. We hope to see you next year as the tradition continues to grow!
