It Runs In the Family
The story of freshman, Jaidah Jean-Baptiste, and the history of track in her family.
Throughout our athletic programs, we hear of athletes and coaches who are second, third, or even fourth generation athletes. This winter season, freshman track star, Jaidah Jean-Baptiste, is carrying on her own grandmother’s legacy of running indoor track. Jaidah is running the 55 meter dash and 4×100 relay this season. We talked to Jaidah about her experience running track and the impact her grandmother has had on her athletic career.
