Let’s Suit Up and Dive In!

Norwalk High’s captains of the Normac boys swim and dive team Adam Longo, Ben Bradley, and Tyler Cetinich are here to give us a glimpse of the expectations for their upcoming season.

The boys are entering the new season after a very strong finish to their last season, “We want to better our record from last year’s 9-2 season and finish top 2 in the FCIAC. We expect to race fast, get best times, and break records.  Last year was the best season we’ve ever had in the programs history, so we look to build on that momentum moving forward,” said Adam Longo, when asked about the upcoming swim season.  “As a team we will continue to celebrate the small victories.”

Team values for swim captains Adam and Tyler will be the key to success this season.  When asked about his expectations for the team, Tyler Cetinich says “My expectations for the team is for everyone to show up each and every day and put forth their best effort in the pool.  I want them to support each other and form a camaraderie.”  Tyler also looks to “have a better dual meet record than last year,” which includes having as many swimmers as possible qualifying for opens.

Captain Ben Bradley, of the dive team, looks forward to leave the school “on a good note,” with this being his last diving season. Ben expressed how the team is “looking really good this year with a lot of young talent,” and how he is “hoping that we get to put our best foot forward against top teams and hopefully have a chance at top 2 or 3 in the FCIACS.”
