This past Tuesday, October 13, 2020, the Norwalk Varsity Volleyball team took on the Danbury Hatters on the Bears senior night. Last night, nine seniors were honored: Isabella Arvanitis, Jordan Brown, Nicole DiLauro, Amelia Iosifides, Georgia Mendola, Brinn Renwick, China Tinnen, Devon Wilkins, and Chloe Zurkowski. With the adrenaline running high the Lady Bears were able to pull off a 3-1 win over the Hatters (25-19, 22-25, 26-24, 25-19) improving their record to 3-1. DiLauro led with 16 kills, Tinnen with 32 assists, and Wilkins with 23 digs. Zurkowski secured the win with a kill on the last play of the fourth set. After the Bears impressive win, first year coach, Jenna Skerritt, says she has lots of high expectations for this talented group of girls and is looking forward to the rest of the season.
