Destiny is a creative girl who likes a good laugh every once in a while. She likes going to cafes, and loves a good movie/show. She also sings/draws in her free time.

Speaking of the Kardashians recently Addison Rae has become close friends with Kourtney Kardashian. She was actually invited to this event and came in with a new hairstyle which was a blunt platinum blonde long bob. She was wearing a red dress that belonged to the 2003 Tom Ford Gucci collection. Which is super similar to Kourney’s red gown in 2019 for the Kardashian/Jenner christmas bash. Which created another meme saying how Addison borrowed from Kourtneys closet for the biggest event of the year. I think the dresses are very similar, like the shade of red and the corset bodice, but I think it was just a coincidence that Addison wore a very similar dress. I feel like Addison could have found a more unique gown and maybe a different hairstyle. My favorite from this years Met Gala was definitely Emma Chamberlain. It just matched the theme and was simple, but at the same time unique compared to the other dresses. I also liked her hair and makeup, it was completely different and out of her comfort zone. Which is what the Met Gala is really about is to try new looks and push fashion boundaries. I think thats what Kim Kardashian was going for with this years theme. She could have gone a completely different look for this year. I dont know if she was trying to make a statement or if there was a message behind the look. She was my least favorite this year only because she could have chosen a different approach. Overall I feel like this years Met Gala was either a hit or miss when it came to fashion. I get that everyone is trying to be unique when it comes to this event specifically. Because of the media attention and what it could do for them as a celebrity and their platform, but I think some people could have gone different ways when it came to the end result. Especially Kim Kardashian, Addison Rae and other artists/celebrities. I think less is more especially with the theme American Independence. I still think the 2018 Heavenly Bodies was the best theme so far, and everyone fashion wise looked good compared to what we have seen this year. I feel like a lot of people this year rushed when it came to the look for this event. Im hoping that next year we get more unique looks.
